Yes. Nominate your partner as your Guardian on the Complete plan and they'll get access to whatever you've shared with them through their Sharing Settings. On the Family plan, they'd have their own separate account instead, so if you still want them to see parts of your vault, you'd add them as a Guardian there too.

A Guardian is a trusted personal contact, a partner, sibling, or close friend, who you nominate to access your vault if something happens to you. A Custodian is a professional adviser, such as your lawyer or accountant, who you give scoped access to specific documents relevant to their work with you.

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the cost difference is applied on a pro-rata basis. If you downgrade, your current plan remains active until the end of the billing period.

If you cancel a paid plan, your account moves to the Free plan for a fresh 12 months, so your vault isn't deleted straight away. If you haven't upgraded again by the end of those 12 months, your vault moves to view-only and you get a further 90 days to export or upgrade before anything is removed. If you close your account entirely, you'll get a reminder to export first, then your data is permanently deleted 30 days later. You can export everything at any time from your account settings.
