Lyff operates on a zero-knowledge model. This means no one at Lyff can access the contents of your vault. Your documents are encrypted with keys that only you control. Our team can see that a file exists, but never what is inside it.
Your data never leaves Australia
Lyff stores all data on Australian servers, governed by Australian privacy law. We will never store your information overseas or transfer it to foreign jurisdictions. You are protected by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles at all times.

What happens if Lyff shuts down
We take this question seriously. In the unlikely event that Lyff ceases to operate, you will be given a minimum of 90 days notice and full access to export every document in your vault. Your data will never be sold, transferred, or made accessible to any third party without your explicit consent.

Australian Privacy Act 1988 compliant
Lyff is fully compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles. All data is stored on Australian servers and subject exclusively to Australian law. We do not transfer data to any overseas jurisdiction.
Zero-knowledge architecture
No Lyff employee can access the contents of a client's vault. Documents are encrypted with client-controlled keys. This means Lyff cannot be compelled to produce document contents and cannot be a liability in a data breach scenario involving document content.
Clients can export their data at any time
Clients are never locked into Lyff. They can export the full contents of their vault at any time in standard formats. This means their documents remain portable and accessible regardless of what happens to the platform, giving you and your clients complete confidence.
Business continuity guarantee
In the event Lyff ceases to operate, clients receive a minimum of 90 days notice and guaranteed full export access. Client data will never be sold, transferred, or made accessible to any third party. A formal business continuity policy is available on request.
