How it works
Start free, then set up your Care Card.
Your Care Card is purchased and managed inside your Lyff account. You choose the information, approve what will be displayed and remain in control of your separate emergency profile.

Create and approve your profile
Choose what to include, leave out anything you do not want displayed and preview exactly what a scanner will see.
Receive it and keep it current
Your Care Card pack is posted to you. You can update the approved emergency information through your account without replacing the physical card.
Your vault always stays private.
The QR code opens a separate emergency profile containing only the information you deliberately enter and approve for the Care Card. It does not read, copy or display information from your vault and cannot reveal your private documents, messages, passwords or other vault contents.

Can the QR code open my Lyff vault?
No. The QR code opens a separate emergency profile containing only the information you have approved for display. It cannot open your private vault, documents or Lyff account.
Who can view my emergency profile?
Anyone with physical access to the card who scans its QR code may be able to view the information you publish. Include only information you are comfortable making available for this purpose.
Can I choose what appears?
Yes. You choose which available fields to complete and what information is displayed. Your Care Card profile is separate and does not pull information from your private vault.
Can I update my details?
Yes. Update your approved emergency profile from inside your Lyff account without replacing the physical card.
What happens if I lose my card or key tag?
You can suspend or deactivate the associated QR code from your Lyff account so the emergency profile is no longer displayed.
Does it replace medical-alert identification?
No. The Lyff Care Card is an emergency-information tool. It does not replace medical-alert identification, medical advice, emergency services or instructions from healthcare professionals.
